Razer DeathAdder adds 4G optical sensor, available now for $69

Razer's had a good thing going with its DeathAdder gaming mouse. So much so, that it's left the peripheral largely untouched, varying only its color over the years and adding a left-handed edition. Which makes today's refresh notable, since it brings a major update to the mouse's optical sensor -- now 4G -- that should improve accuracy with a resolution maxing out at 6,400 dpi. The unit still retains the same form and function as the original, although a textured, rubber grip has been added to the sides for increased comfort. And in keeping with tradition, gamers can also sync this mouse with the company's Synapse 2.0 software to access firmware updates, as well as settings for button mapping across titles. It's available now for $69 / €69, so hit up the source below to get your order set.

Oh Samsung Will You Ever Learn ?!

Searching the internetz the other day I turned up this video about the "Samsung Spider Laptop" from MiniPCPro on YouTube. This is a new laptop that you can connect your Samsung Galaxy S3 to. About half way through the video, which you can watch below, we see a mouse that accompanies the laptop. Even the presenter comments that there ay be another lawsuit coming and they are right.

It doesn't just have a slight resemblence to the Magic Mouse from Apple. Instead, if you take a good look at the mouse, it really does look almost identical. After Apple being awarded $1 Billion in the last round, I thought that Samsung would be a bit more careful. I can see it now … internal document leak from engineers … "How can we make our mouse like the Magic Mouse, but improve on it, without seeming to have copied it?" … well you have managed to make a superb looking mouse, yes, but it is an IN YOUR FACE copy that will surely gain more than my attention.

The new HP Webcam HD-4110 allows full HD video calling in three easy clicks, giving users the best ease of use and video clarity yet. The webcam allows consumers to chat, take clear HD photos, videos and create images and was awarded the CES 2011 (Consumer Electronics Show) Innovations Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. Full HD 1080 autofocus widescreen model can record videos at up to 30 frames per second.

HP’s webcams make the end-user experience simpler and quicker with three buttons to launch end-user preferred Instant Messaging applications (AIM, Window Live, Skype, or Yahoo!), take pictures and record videos. According to HP research, 92% of webcam users participate in video chatting, 42% take pictures and 34% record videos2. The directional microphone filters out background noise, allowing users to enjoy louder and clearer sound.
